Welcome
ALWAYS BEAR IN MIND THAT YOUR OWN RESOLUTION TO SUCCEED IS MORE IMPORTANT THAT ANY OTHER.- A. LINCOLN
When emailing a teacher...
Research First
Did you speak with your teacher? Did you check the "No Name" box? Is this a question better suited for a discussion board?
Be Respectful
Keep your tone appropriate. Keep your message free of slang, jargon, emoticons and Internet abbreviations.
Be Specific
In the subject line include the specific assignment and the period.
Be Patient
Allow two school days for your teacher to respond. If you are in a hurry, ask the teacher in person or ask a study buddy your question or post it to a discussion board.

Homework Helpline
Homework Helpline is provided free by the LBUSD and consists of credentialed LBUSD teachers who guide students through homework assignments by telephone. The teachers are equipped with school textbooks and are trained to help the students help themselves.
The teachers will ask for pertinent information such as full name and school of attendance. They enter this information into a student database to show a need for service.
Students can call the Homework Helpline at (562) 437-2859 Monday through Thursday between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Homework Helpline teachers can also be reached by email at Homework@lbschools.net.
